Fragrant Coconut Roast Chicken (Ayam Percik) 椰香香烤鸡
Main Ingredients:
1.2 kg whole chicken, split in half lengthwise or 4 whole chicken thighs
Supporting Ingredients:
200 ml boxed coconut milk
25g chili powder
13g seedless tamarind paste (asam paste)
65g sugar or Melaka palm sugar (gula Melaka), to taste
8g salt, to taste
1 chicken stock cube
Spice Ingredients:
10g garlic cloves
65g onions
2 stalks lemongrass
12g ginger
210g water
Preparation:
1. Blend all the spice ingredients until smooth and fine. Set aside.
Cooking Steps:
1. Place the chicken, all supporting ingredients and the blended spice paste into the inner pot. Mix well and evenly coat the chicken cavity and the skin.
2. Select “Smart Cook” mode and set the temperature and time at P3; 20 minutes, start cooking with the glass lid covered.
3. Once cooking is complete, it will automatically switch to “Broil” mode. Continue to broil at the default settings at 230°Cfor 10 minutes with the air fryer lid covered to brown the surface.
4. Remove the roast chicken and serve hot.

事前准备:
1. 将所有香料搅碎至细滑,备用。
做法:
1. 在内锅中放入鸡只、所有辅助材料和备用香料。将所有材料混合好并均匀的涂抹于鸡胸腔和鸡表皮。
2. 选择 “Smart Cook” 模式,设定温度和时间为P3;20分钟,盖上玻璃盖,开始烹煮。
3. 烹煮完成后,自动转换成“Broil” 模式。盖上气炸锅盖,继续以预设设置的230°C焗烤10分钟;让表皮焗烤上色均匀。
4. 取出烤鸡,趁热享用。
